Quick Setup

Be up and running in as little as an hour.  The straightforward AJAX-powered configuration, combined with a number of pre-configured policy templates covering issues like log retention time and encryption, allows for a quick and pain-free launch.

LogManager virtually eliminates the hassles of adding new data sources. We currently support hundreds of third party devices and applications with additional support packs being released on a quarterly basis. Custom applications and other data sources can be easily supported through our wizard-based interface.

Advanced Reporting

LogManager gives you more than 300 security reports, dashboards and comprehensive templates including reports tailored specifically to compliance issues.  This spread of options gives you an efficient and effective way to create a range of report to address all your auditing and forensic requirements.  Additionally, the interactive report model allows you to smoothly break global statistics down to individual event detail as needed.

Scalable Architecture

Providing a tiered approach to performance, the LogManager family can accommodate a range of 700 to 10,000 events per second with a single appliance. Logs can be compressed and encrypted using the minimal amount of bandwidth. These fault-tolerant systems use dual components for all critical functions with additional high availability options available.

If additional horsepower is needed, new appliances can be added as needed, thus allowing for a virtually unlimited amount of data to be collected and archived from any number of sources.

Massive storage is provided for with up to 1 terabyte of encrypted and compressed storage on the appliance itself, an additional 39 terabytes of storage available through the optional Archive Disk Array, and unlimited storage is accessible via NAS and SAN connectivity. Additional appliances can also be added for even more storage options.

Efficient Operation

LogManager includes an optional policy-based filtering system that allows organizations to vastly decrease the amount of storage required by filtering out noise and unwanted logs.

Built-in energy conservation and a highly efficient 2U design mean that LogManager consumes a minimum of electricity and requires limited space and cooling.

Seamless Upgrade

Thanks to the integrated Exaprotect architecture, LogManager offers an instant upgrade to full featured Security Information Event Management (SIEM) functionality. EventManager, our tightly integrated Security Information and Event Management solution, allows organizations to see threats in real time with sophisticated monitoring, cross-device analysis, visualization and correlation.
