Exaprotect Receives Frost & Sullivan’s Global Excellence Award in Network Security Infrastructure

Jul 24, 2007

The global growth consulting company noted that Exaprotect's solutions and project methodologies address enterprise concerns over SIM/SEM implementations, by involving stakeholders early and adapting the company’s versatile products to meet the needs of the customer.

Exaprotect, a leader in intelligent security management, has announced that it is the sole recipient of Frost & Sullivan's 2007 World Network Security Infrastructure Protection Global Excellence Award.

Frost & Sullivan highlights Exaprotect's unique 'View & Do' solutions approach to simplifying security management for complex networks.

The Frost & Sullivan Global Excellence Awards recognise the individual companies in each sector that best address the needs of their markets, and have provided the best combination of product, support and innovation to their customers. The company receiving the Award has created solutions that address its customer's pain points with a solid value proposition, and innovation which will accelerate industry change – and may well alter the competitive marketplace.

Robert Ayoub, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan said: "Exaprotect's 'View & Do' approach to security management combines security monitoring and network security change management for complex networks. We believe this to be unique in the SIM/SEM market. Exaprotect has seen the impact that this technology will have globally and, with its global awareness, has an edge into many areas in the market that are challenging and that other vendors are just starting to participate in."

Jean-François Déchant, CEO of Exaprotect said, "We are proud that Frost & Sullivan has recognised us for the things that differentiate Exaprotect in the market. Our 'View & Do' approach greatly simplifies security management for enterprises, while giving closer control of policies and devices. I believe no other vendor can deliver a single solution for holistic security management."

Following Exaprotect's October 2006 merger with Solsoft, an innovator in network security policy change management, the company's turnover has achieved a 3 digit growth rate versus 2005 figures. Frost & Sullivan says that the merger has allowed Exaprotect to reach a critical mass, integrating technologies, markets and personnel to create radical new security management systems.

Exaprotect's Security Management Solution (SMS) and Network Security Policy Solutions (NSPS) solutions simplify overall security management for organisations, optimise threat response and maximise return on security investments. SMS gives true SIEM capabilities, while NSPS provides security policy change management and real-time remediation. The company has already previewed an appliance product running both solutions, delivering this unique integrated 'View & Do' solution.
